Bringing My Dog Home

Some suggestions:

Food: anything grain free but we recommend Taste of the Wild (Chuck and Don's Pet Food Outlet) or if you have a Costco membership they have Nature's Domain Grain Free. Food at Costco is MUCH cheaper so we would recommend getting a membership if you don't have one because you will earn back your money in just a few bags.

Leash and Collar: 6ft leash and collar has to be buckle (like a belt buckle). The snap together ones break really easily.

Bowls: stainless steel- they don't hold as much bacteria as plastic and sometimes dogs have an allergic reaction to plastic.
Ethical SS Mirror Pet Dish for Dogs

Crate: a large wire crate with a divider as this will work for both a puppy and an adult dog. Size: 36"L x 24"W x 27"H
The only thing left in the crate if needed should be a none edible bone (Nylabone) and a blanket.

Toys/Bones: Tug ropes (for play with humans) and Nylabones for anytime use. We also recommend Antlers for chewing as well. Stuffies can be bought for quick entertainment however they are usually destroyed within a couple of minutes. The CUZ and Jolly Ball are also a good rubber ball for entertainment.

**Nylabones- make sure to get the "Powerful Chewer" variety.

Kong: Kongs can be stuffed with a variety of things from dog food to peanut butter to yogurt that has been frozen inside.

Dog bed or Mat: not to be placed in the crate but for the dog to have a "spot" outside of the crate. For crate bedding, we suggest a fleece blanket or something easily washable and easily replaceable.
